Cloudonomics

I bought this book after a meeting I had with the author Joe Weinman. He was an impressive leader in Cloud Computing. The book is complex and not for a casual reading experience. Many of the  advanced topics of Cloud Computing are covered. For example, at LonoCloud we deal with orchestrating hybrid clouds and there is a concept of "Eventual Consistency". This is covered in his book on page 178. The book approaches cloud in a very analytical approach.

The Lean Startup

The Lean Startup is a must read for any founder, a collection of chapters and topics on the various challenges you will face in a startup. Nobody can provide a simple formula for a successful startup, you have to remain nimble and think on your feet. As the book points out, it is about people, culture, and building an engine of growth.

The Joy of Clojure

While I am no longer an active developer, I read this book because LonoCloud is building our new Cloud PaaS+ technology in the language and one of our chief software architects at LonoCloud authored the book (Chris Houser who we call "Chouser"). I actually learned a lot and found the examples were easy to understand in the context of each coding topic. The Clojure language is very powerful for a number of reason and is quickly gaining popularity by the top developers in the industry.
